The Home Minister emphasized that the development of a strong semiconductor ecosystem would play a key role in strengthening India’s technological capabilities and enhancing its competitiveness on the global stage. He noted that semiconductors are central to a wide range of industries, from electronics and automobiles to defense and telecommunications, making the sector vital for national growth and security.
